Speaking of CR 26-27... the Zaphkiel PDF says he's CR 26 on page 1, but CR 27 on page 2.

They're only half an elf. I think that makes them underpowered.

Not with +1 to all stats, but they might be less fun to play due to the special abilities of the other races.

How many times do you really need more than two or three stats to be good at what your character does, though?

They also are the only race that gets a feat before 4th level if you use the +1 to two stats and a feat version.

That is the more common version, yes.

But, for a Charisma focused class at least, a half-elf can get the same ability scores, take a feat at 4th level, and get some other stuff too. Though I guess a human could have two feats, if he didn't care about stats.

Well, after last night's game I am seeing a lot of benefit to playing a halfling. Natural 1s, man.
