Very cautiously enthusiastic. Unlike many I liked Man of Steel, but I can easily see how this could go so very sideways.

Trailer 2 is spoilery in what seems like a "we're going to summarize the whole movie" sort of way. If you like surprises, you'll want to skip it.

I spent a good thirty seconds wondering why Jimmy Olsen was wearing a nicer suit than Clark and proud of himself for introducing the two of them.

Yes he totally has a Jimmy Olsen vibe at first, doesn't he?

I like the trailer. A lot. But, like a lot of folks, I think they're showing waaaaay too much.

And I remain concerned about the number of characters featured. Not only do we have the DC Trinity (money-shot at the end with all three!), we have Luthor, rumors about Cyborg, Aquaman, and The Flash, and now the apparent Dragon to Lex Luthor (I refuse to call
Spoiler:
Doomsday
the Big Bad).

Still, I am little more... hopeful than I was a few months ago. I love the interaction between Kent and Wayne, and I think Batman looks pretty good all things considered.

Looks like I am right to not watch the latest trailer then. I mean I'll definitely see the movie, but trailers are nothing but trouble for me.

I saw this on the internet and I thought it was funny enough to quote
Quote:
the way bruce wayne was introduced in the new bvs trailer reminds me of the beginning of every high school movie

“who’s that”

“you must be new. that is bruce wayne.”

yes that is bruce wayne, the most popular guy in school.

I saw this trailer despite myself.

This movie feels like it's going to be too much. I understand it's meant to lead to other movies, but when a movie relies on being part of a series or franchise it shows. That last Spider-Man movie suffered for this (among other things), Avengers 2 was inferior to Avengers and many of the other Marvel films for this reason as well.
