True - but Mythic is a concept in my eyes and not a power source (well, thats a secondary use of mythic in my eyes). Seeing that Mephisto wont be able to slay a 9th rank mythic character because of the immortality ability is odd for me.

A circumstance Mephistopheles is already fully prepared for. The inability to slay someone only means you can prolong their torment for that much longer. Sides, if he insists on ending their suffering, he can always just capture them, drag them into Cania, and do the job there.

Seems kind of strange that I would be the one to point out that murder by hit points is not in fact the only way to deal with a problem.

Creatures with epic damage reduction count as mythic for the purposes of immortality.

Where would Eblis fall in this graph? And would he posses innate MR, or only in his tower in the plane of elemental fire.

And what about truly divine beings? Will they be on par with lordds/princes or far stronger?and will their MR be innate or like in the case of Lords and Princes, only in their Divine Realm? And last - would Asmodeus be built with power leve (ie CR) dimilar to a greater deity, or something less?

Eblis, I imagine, is probably somewhere between 35-38 in CR. I'm personally inclined to say 38. As an arch-devil, he would not possess any MR, like the others don't. There's no reason for him to be special in this regard. Though CR isn't a very good gauge of monster vs. monster, I think the notion that he best the weaker four Lords outside their realms is a fair one.

Deities would have divine ranks, however that might work in Pathfinder. I see no reason Asmodeus wouldn't be as powerful as any other greater deity, unless of course he wasn't a greater deity.

In the GoH Eblis was CR 67 while Mephistopholes was CR 66.... Implying that he was abit stronger then the later, in terms of personal power that is. So unless, Kain approves this has changed, I'm inclined to wait on another answer

Eblis would probably be a giant advanced mythic solar (base CR 30) with 20 or so levels. CR 39-40ish would be my thought.

The entire idea going through this thread is that Mythic would be used as a replacement for the old templates. Unless I am just horribly mistaken. And if I'm really that mistaken, please Kain just ban me now because I no longer have a place here.

KCG largely has the right of it. An archdevil could be built via template or formula, but neither method ought to result in a different CR from the suggested one.

Would you forsee a template of any sort being necessary? Even if just a fairly minor one that notes shared resistances, immunities, weaknesses, and other powers?
