I thought the movie was great. It covered all of the major plot points from the first game, and in a rather short span of time. Loved it. Probably the most faithful adaption of a property that I've seen recently.

That said, not everyone agrees.

Literally no one except Seanbaby or Kristi Harrison is worth listening to at Cracked anymore.

I'm like, 75% sure that review was sarcastic.

I also plan on seeing this movie soon.

After 22 minutes of listening, while I couldn't pick out anything directly from any of the games, it all sounds like something that would be in one of the games. Which is somewhat satisfying.

I liked the movie. It felt rushed at times... but apparently 40 minutes got cut, so hopefully they'll release an extended version.

Stormwind looked amazing, the orcs were handled very well (better than the humans), and there were plenty of easter eggs (including various characters from the games making unnamed cameos).

They made few major changes to the story, so it will be interesting to see where things go if we get a sequel.

Phaedros pretty much got it right. The movie was enjoyable, met my expectations.
