Huh. That actually looks like it might not suck. The CGI is so conspicuous, I have to think it's a conscious visual choice.

...Is that Ragnar Lothbrok leading the Alliance? It is!

This does look surprisingly promising. Which is a relief, since my Blizzard-fan boyfriend would probably drag me to it even if it looked terrible.

Nice humble brag there MythMage.

Either canon has changed more drastically than I ever dared dream or this movie isn't meant to fit in the games themselves.

Yeah, I'm sure it's a reboot, to make it more accessible to people who've never played the games.

Or I could be wrong. There's apparently been a crapton of time travel going on in WoW lately, so who knows anymore?

The movie has its own continuity, separate from the games. Same general idea, different execution.

That's probably for the best. Maybe we'll finally get another RTS out of it.

Agreed wholeheartedly.

We're all just going to be heartbroken now that you put the dream into words. :ugeek:

WARCRAFT: ORCS AND HUMANS...TOGETHER.

As for WoW: Legion, I have WoW the old college try when WoD and big stat squish came out. It was fun, but not something I wanted to invest my life in. And since you HAVE to invest your life into WoW to get the good stuff there was no further point in playing.

Hopefully they would've learned something from the Hobbit movies, namely more practical effects less CGI; the trailers seem to lack a certain quantity of ridiculous pauldrons
